By using IsNoor (“we”, “the service”), with or without an account, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

IsNoor is an educational companion for learning Islam through short daily readings, the Seerah, the lives of the Companions and the basics of worship.

Anyone can read everything on IsNoor without an account. An account is only needed to save your progress, reflections and saved insights.

It is not a fatwa service and it is not a substitute for qualified scholars. For rulings that apply to your own situation, please ask a local scholar you trust.

• Give accurate information when you sign up.
• Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One account is for one person. Please do not share it.
• IsNoor is for every age. Anyone under 18 needs a parent’s or guardian’s consent to create an account.

Please do not:

• abuse, harass or threaten others, or use the contact form to do so;
• scrape, copy in bulk or republish the content by automated means;
• attack, probe, overload or try to break into the service or other people’s accounts;
• use the service for anything unlawful.

Your reflections are private and they are yours. We give you a place to write them and we show them only to you. By saving them, you give us only the permission needed to store them and show them back to you.

• Qur’an translations are credited to their published sources.
• Hadith come from the collections we cite, with their numbers.
• Our own explanations and writing are © IsNoor.

You may use the content for your personal learning and you are welcome to share links to it. Please do not copy it in bulk or present it as your own. See our methodology for how it is made.

We prepare the content with care and review it, but it may contain mistakes. If you find one, please tell us through the contact page and we will look into it and correct it.

We may change, pause or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We will try to keep interruptions short.

You can stop using IsNoor at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings, under Account; it is deleted immediately with everything linked to it. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.

IsNoor is provided “as is”, without promises that it will be error-free or always available. You use it at your own judgement, and you should not rely on it alone for religious rulings.

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date above.
